Dead Sea Shore
| While the average salt rate of sea water ranges between 2 and 4%, the one of the Dead Sea is about 27.5%. No fish and no algae can survive in such conditions; this is why it is called "Dead Sea". However it is known that microscopic organisms (plankton and bacteria) live in it. |
