Qutub Minar, New Delhi
| Qutub Minar is the tallest stone tower in India and one of the most important landmarks of Delhi. At 72.5 m, the minaret was the tallest "skyscraper" in the world when built (1193-1368). According to the inscriptions, it was twice struck by lightning and was damaged. |
