Penicillin
Penicillin is used to treat various bacterial infections: ear, nose, throat, skin, soft tissue, genitourinary tract, and respiratory system. It is prescribed preventively before surgery or dental surgery for patients at risk of endocarditis. It may also be given to treat meningitis and syphilis.
